Shivani Khanna received her masters degree in Sustainable Design from University of Auckland, New Zealand, 2014. Prior to this she has worked in gaining experience in landscape design. In Auckland, as a student, she also gained valuable experience as Designer working with reputed architects & builders as well as individuals on housing projects.
She also holds the experience as a Teaching Assistant at the prestigious University of Auckland, where she taught Design & Technology to the 3rd year B.A.S. (Bachelors in Architectural studies). She was also invited to represent the Sustainable Design Research faculty of University of Auckland at the 'Building a Better New Zealand' conference in 2014. She has an upper hand in efficiently leading projects, from coordinating and mitigating design, through tough constructions up till handover. With significant clientele services to the HDFC Edu, TERI gram and the Bluebells group with her previous firm, she has made her mark with 3 institution buildings complete in just a span of 365days each.
She had worked as a Lead Project Architect and a Research Analyst with Mr. Sanjay Prakash for over 3 years up until 2018. She has also co-authored papers related to Sustainable building designing in her duration at Auckland.
As a young professional, passionate about design and sustainability she is a proud leader & partner of her Design and Architecture Firm, Studio Crypt. The firm is invested to resolve built spaces through innovation. The Studio is dedicated to offer integrated sustainable-luxury- boutique design solutions by minimizing consumption, increasing efficiency, reducing wastage, investing in local crafts & artisans. She ensures through her works to understand the responsibility on the architecture community to spearhead the Sustainable Construction movement and believes in designing and guiding consciously. Through a series of projects, she has established an equilibrium of creating versatile luxury and sustainable designs.
