Abin Chaudhuri is an Indian architect from Kolkata. He founded Abin Design Studio began in October 2005. The Jadavpur University graduate pursued Industrial Design at Domus Academy, Milan. Recently, he attended the Glenn Murcutt International Master Class 2014.
His architectural firm, Abin Design Studio (ADS) expresses art through architecture as far as it transcends its purely utilitarian, technical and rational realm, and turns into a metaphoric expression of the lived world, the human condition, and context. Since its inception, the completed projects of ADS have earned us numerous accolades. In 2014, ADS was selected by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, for publication and a traveling exhibition - "Uneven Growth: Tactical Urbanisms for Expanding Megacities”.
ADS has a spirit of learning from every project and even though they are confident in their finesse of work, they still believe to have a long way to go. This spirit of learning from everything around is what keeps them going.
