REHAU India gave students, consumers and architects of Chandigarh a lesson or two in contemporary architecture recently, when it reached the city with their newly launched promotional concept, a unique mobile showcase ‘bus’ – called, REHAU Inspiration Express. The Express that recently arrived at Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA), also showcased REHAU’s range of Advanced Living Solutions in front of the students, apart from discussing the ‘evolution of contemporary architecture’. This ‘direct-to-consumer’ approach by Rehau aims at offering special services to the consumers, which is otherwise not possible even via the physical stores. Rehau India – India’s prominent system and service provider for polymer-based solutions in windows, furniture & building industry – is known to interact with consumers and architects at their doorstep.

The event was graced by the presence of who’s who of the Education arena of India. Sachin Rana, IAS, Special Secretary, Technical Education, UT, lit the lamp in the presence of Dr. Sangeeta Bagga, Principal of CCA and Dr. Manoj Arora, Director, Punjab Engineering College. Attending as Chief Guest was Anurag Agarwal, IAS Home Secretary, Chandigarh.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Sangeeta Bagga, Principal Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) said, “We are delighted to be a part of REHAU India’s unique initiative to reach out to architects at their doorstep through the REHAU Inspiration Express. At CCA, it is our endeavour to prepare our students to raise the standards of design practices in India. The Inspiration Express with its showcase of state-of-the-art products and solutions is a great platform for students to explore the world of Interior Design and Architecture, making them aware of a world of possibilities. We look forward to a long term association with REHAU, in creating awareness for a meaningful tomorrow.”

Rehau Inspiration Express was unveiled on 23rd, February, 2018, in the presence of leading Architects of the country and Mr. Ajay Khurana, Chairman of REHAU South Asia. Displaying various Furniture Solutions, Windows Solutions, Plumbing and Underfloor Heating and Cooling solutions, the Inspiration Express has travelled to the major cities in India, including Roorke, Dehradun, Haridwar, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Hisar, Manesar, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida & Greater Noida where it has interacted with dealers, architects, interior designers, contractors and consumers. During its travel to cover the length and breadth of India, from February 2018-April 2019, the mobile showcase will interact with consumers, in over 100 cities.

The interiors of Inspiration Express are designed to give a real life innovative depiction of the REHAU’s offerings for the consumers. The kitchen area showcases the roller shutter cabinets and surface solutions. The bathroom area and the living area are also designed to exhibit the unique Rehau product offerings including laminates & uPVC windows and doors solutions.
