Wall panels made of straw

Wall panels made of straw

Complex yet playful, The Hide and Seek wall panels by Alexander Lamont take the linearity of Erasmo Figini’s original artwork and add a dash of colour and sunshine; leading your eyes across plains of depth and light. The ruby-red straw lines contrast with the earthier tones of bronze and beige to create a vibrant graphical surface. The Hide and Seek wall panels are entirely hand made from natural materials. Variations in colour tones and texture are inherent. Natural tones will vary in different light conditions.

The pattern requires every straw be cut to exact widths – some as small as 2mm. The Panels of size 24” x 24”(61cm x 61cm) are made in 2 patterns.
