Spearheading the firm, Prashant holds the belief that design is boundless.He enjoys sharing his thoughts with the aspiring architects at Rizvi College of Architecture, where he began his quest for lifelong learning. His curiosity towards the scriptures and spirituality are largely responsible for his minimalist and clutter-free approach to design. Alumni of the same college, Anu spearheads the design forefront with a goal-oriented vision. Her background in advertising and Retail Visual Merchandising adds a new dimension to the team.

SR - What is the best thing about Zero9? How do you define your design process.
ZERO9 - ZERO9 is a gamut of design streams and hence every discipline exchanges ideas with the other. The central idea being Design is Boundless and can be overlapped through multiple layers and touchpoints which make it seen, felt and experienced on a day-to-day basis.Our design process simply begins with the clients perspective. We listen, understand and reflect their thought processes into our layouts with efficiency and value addition which they can immediately identify with.
SR -Tell us what led to the creation of your firm -
ZERO9 - A short stint with industry gurus led gave us an insight of how fragmented design world is. We wanted to create a one-stop shop for clients where we cater to their every design need right from designing their office to making their corporate stationary.

SR - The project that kick started your career
ZERO9 - We kick started our careers with a small exhibition stall for D Line which was a unique modular concept which could be used in multiple forms as per the site conditions. This led us to exploring exhibitions as an industry.
SR - The most memorable moment of your career
ZERO9 - To see tears of joy into our clients eyes when we presented to them our first international award for their project. That moment of happiness is what we strive for in every project.
SR - International & Indian architect you admire -
ZERO9 - We have always admired Le Corbusier’s and Charles Correa’s works.
SR - With diverse interest in architecture, design, graphics and photography, what are you most passionate about?
ZERO9 - I am more passionate about life and learning since these various forms are an extension of constant evolution. My recent exploration has been into Augmented Reality and how it can bring a huge change in how we design.

SR - Best architectural site you have visited?
ZERO9 - Until my recent trip to Paris, Le Corbusiers The Open Hand Monument has been my personal favourite. And then I was awestruck with The Louvre Pyramid by I M Pei, a perfect combination of Simplicity and Brilliance.
SR - You dream to work like....
ZERO9 - I dream to work like no other. I guess that’s what we all are made for, to contribute our own bit to this beautiful planet.
SR - Materials you love to work with?
ZERO9 - I prefer indian stones, they are warm and beautiful. I absolutely love the feel of a unfinished Kota and Kadappah stone.
