Architect Aparna Kaushik Comes up with Some Cute Designs for Kids Rooms

Aparna Kaushik Launches Exciting Kids Room

New-Delhi-based architect Aparna Kaushik launches a collection of exciting kid’s rooms that are fun and stimulating to the young minds, at the same time, soothing and elegant with a refined palette.

One look at the kid’s rooms designed by Aparna Kaushik, and you know that you don’t have to go overboard with bright colours and garish patterns to introduce vivacity and energy into them. Subtle hues and pared down décor elements go a long way in creating spaces that offer the right stimulus to impressionist minds, without overcrowding their imagination. The spaces gently awaken their intellect and tickle their senses to get on an exploratory journey. They also create a serene and tranquil world where they find the much-needed relaxation that further allows them to recharge and take on a new, exciting day with vigor.

The rooms grow with the children and stay relevant for quite some time without needing much change as they graduate to become young adults.

Blush pink curtains, bed and a decorative trail drop at the bed back create the right ambience for a pretty room for a girl. Floral wallpaper accented with wall moldings, the ornate mirror, the side tables add a classic touch.

Kids Room Designs Delhi

A world map wallpaper in a subtle colour scheme on the bed back, along with the lit cove enlivens this room done in a predominantly brown shade with wooden herringbone flooring and wooden study table. The fluted glass shutters of the cabinets break the monotony, while the chairs add colour to the scene. The two hanging chandeliers infuse a sense of luxury.

Kids Room Designs Delhi-grey, pink and beige palette

A grey, pink and beige palette creates an exhilarating environment in this kid’s room.

An all encompassive unit of TV cabinet, study table and a play hut with ladder is designed to meet all the necessary requirements of the kid. Wooden herringbone flooring, the carpet and the headboard add pattern.

Blush pink wallpaper

Blush pink wallpaper with white moldings adds beauty and elegance to this part of the kid’s room.

A dresser with pencil-shaped storage units are sure to click with any kid.

Two suspension lights on one side of the bed further add charm to the space with simple, yet captivating décor.

A slate board wall for the kid

A slate board wall for the kid to express herself, playful triangular top storage units and a fun bunny-shaped shelf… what more does a child want? With several delightful design elements tied together by a subtle colour scheme, you can sense the innocence of childhood in the environment.
