Located in Siddhrawali, Haryana, the BML Munjal Centre of Excellence is an enclosed interior glass box of 6 M height and an area of 3200 sq ft. The design intent was to create a holistic space having two parts—a contemplative museum space showcasing the exemplary life of the founder Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, and a student zone showcasing innovative student work in three different zones as detailed further.

Design Evolution
The DESIGN works on the Yin- Yang concept of INSPIRATION and ASPIRATION, where the founder’s life becomes the inspiration for the students to aspire to be the best. The concept of this space is thus woven around the thought – INSPIRATION propels ASPIRATION towards success.
Zone A- inspiration and Aspiration
THE ENTRANCE FOYER- graphically sums up the spatial zoning of the Centre. It is meant to guide people further into the Centre and has a graphic on its curved wall depicting the Vision and Mission of the University.

ZONE B- inspiration
Zone B is formed by a circular brick wall with a paint finish on the inside and texture paint on the outside, tapering from a height of 2.7 mtrs to 4 mtrs. It depicts Dr. BML Munjal’s life as a timeline using different media like text (also in Braille), photographs, awards, personal belongings and interactive audio-visual with references to the Gita Shlokas.

ZONE C- Aspiration
Displays innovative concepts in business management, engineering and other exemplary works of students through presentations and models.
