An institutional wonder, the Centre for Environmental Planning & Technology (CEPT) by the legendary architect, B V Doshi, captures the presence of a brick kiln, which evokes memories of childhood. Likewise, education without doors conveys both formal and informal exchanges.

The architecture of CEPT is such where constraints become a virtue and result into a building that frugally combines technology with assets of light, ventilation and greenery.

The vision of Doshi for the project resulted as a glorified north lighted factory, integrated with a kund.

Scattered trees and earlier huts were transformed into a new generation of classrooms.
