I Me Myself is an exclusive section of Surfaces Reporter (SR) that encompasses an up,and close interation with renowned personalities of the architecture and design industry. Here we have Ar Fahed Majeed, who juggles between three countries, i.e., India, Dubai and Bali in an exclusive interaction with Vertica Dvivedi, Editor-in-Chief, Surfaces Reporter and Founder WADe Asia Awards.

Architect Fahed Majeed, Fahed + Architects, Dubai - Art, Architecture, Design is among the most promising international stars of the architectural community. His firm, Fahed + Architects is a multidisciplinary boutique architectural practice established in 2005, with offices in Dubai, Bali and Kochi.  Helmed by Fahed, the practice has received numerous design awards since its inception.
A powerhouse of design knowledge, there are many facets of his personality about which he opened up during this personal interaction with SR.

From being Young Architect of the Year to having offices in three countries in 15 years, Fahed Majeed never looked back. He loves to sketch and design products while also ensuring that craft and tradition find significant place in his works. His aim is to create a positive impact on society and how people live, through his work. He studied from Bangalore Institute of Technology, Architecture Division which no longer exists and that saddens him as he remembered his professors who had a tremendous impact on how he thinks and works. He likes to do work with less turnaround time and that gives him opportunity to delve into deeper detail. He loves working with metal, particularly steel. In fact materiality has been explored to a greater extent in most of his works.

Some of his projects have received international recognition and awards. Know about them and how he manages multi-disciplinary works from three offices - Kochi, Bali and Dubai! And yes, a new place is being added to his list of offices.
