In the present episode, we have Mr. Shailesh Puranik, MD, Puranik Builders Pvt Ltd spearheading one of leading real estate companies in the western Maharashtra region. His office is in Thane and projects are spread all over. Not many know that Shailesh Puranik is also an architect and a university rank holder in his final years of thesis. He has also been awarded as the ‘Best CEO of the year’ in 2015.

With Vertica Dvivedi, Mr Puranik talked about many aspects of his life while also spilling the beans about the real estate scenario in the country and what the future holds particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the video, Mr Puranik shared about the status of site visits in his projects, the conversion ratio and why he thinks that the worst might be over for those who are readying for new normal.
As a child, he often used to visit the sites with his architect father. Reminiscing his years in JJ College of Architecture, he termed the time as ‘the best period’ of his life.
Talking about designing for masses, he stressed over keeping a check on the expenses to bring the overall construction cost down and fulfil the commitment.
He also said that while education is a must, the most important knowledge is what you learn from on-ground experiences.
Presently, Puranik Builders have close to ten projects running in the various stages of completion. While some are out for possession, others have completed the RCC work.
