Designed for clients- Kalpa And Sanjay Shah- in Epsilon, Bangalore, this modern space articulates earthly charm, fearless living, and of the present time.

The design of this structure can be best described by the words ‘sculpture with a function,’ if it can be defined at all.

The architect used highly elegant materials like Dyna, Italian marble, black Marquina in the design process.

A building, as whimsical as it is majestic, eliminates the rules and inhabits a space where anything is possible. A rare departure from bound briefs and taut articulation. This home is full of character and art. It is quite contemporary yet in many ways traditional and sophisticated.

husna sankalp

A single uninhibited curve makes its way through the length of the land and on its way finds itself in interaction with angular lines. The intersections carve special moments within and without and discoveries of self and space are inevitable companions through this seamless and boundless path.

Walls know no bounds as they informally define spaces as they slice the curve, creating unique and geometrically intriguing pockets of interior and exterior mosaics, rich with the belief that architecture must be of its time, of its context and offer provocation, questions which must be asked, answers which may never be found.

Sankalp

The building has a special relationship with the earth and sky, the grass and the birds, the individual, and the universe. Space unfolds like a story as yet untold, teeming with mystery and enchantment.

husna sankalp

The spontaneous gesture of the sinuous curve creates spaces that feel like a warm embrace. The energy of the spaces creates fluid movement, like following the path carved by a river.

husna sankalp

A meandering river that must join the sea, as is its destiny, but for now will spread and sprawl over the lay of the land as it brings unto it life, as people must come to find in its renewal.
