It is one of the fewest Indian firms who continuously lend its design expertise in the International Arena and has won many accolades for its acclaimed projects. Sanjay Puri Architects’ designs involve the assimilation of relevant data pertaining to the site as well as the client’s requirements and a consideration of the eventual users. Beginning with initial sketches, the design is then modeled to study comprehensively from various aspects and then finally translated into construction drawings. The design thus encompasses all these aspects cohesively and in the end, evolves into spaces that are exploratory while being functional and sustainable. Ar. Puri’s designs are contextual with climatic references specific to site location, surroundings and its relation to the sun and wind direction since each location is different even within the same city.
Currently a team of 72 professionals, Sanjay Puri Architects has completed over 400 projects totaling more than 30 million square feet & and is currently involved in the design of over 100 projects in 40 Indian and international cities including Spain, Montenegro, Mauritius and the UAE.
Sanjay Puri Architects is involved in town planning & urban design, architectural design & interior design with associated teams for structural, services and landscape design. The huge array of International awards that the team consistently bags each year is anything but a small icing on the cake. His latest awards include being the ‘Overall Winner’ at MIPIM Architectural Review Future Projects Awards 2014 at Cannes (France) and winning three A+Architizer Award in New York in 2014. As of now, Sanjay Puri Architects have won a total of 41 international architecture awards! The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture & Design’s International Architecture Awards in 2012 & 2011, The World Architecture Festival Awards in 2012, 2011 & 2010, 6 World Architecture Community Awards U.K and the Hospitality Design Awards, New York in 2012 & 2010 are some of the awards won by the firm in the last 3 years.
