The Delhi based architect, Martand Khosla is the Founer-partner of award-wining architecture studio, Romi Khosla Design Studios. Martand practices art exploring urban continuity and transformation, as both complement and counter to his experience building in contemporary India. His study of art was initially intended to explore how construction-fuelled employment shapes identities and nostalgia.

Martand’s natural preoccupation with space is prominent in his work. Martand has designed a number of projects ranging from playgrounds for children, to eco-friendly mud architecture, low cost factory workers housing, high end villas in India and abroad, as well as Institutional buildings and Corporate offices throughout India.  He is also a sculpturist and artist. His building, the students canteen in New Delhi has been featured in the UK as one of the best buildings of the 21st Century, and his first building – A Hospice for poor patients in New Delhi has won the WAC award.

Some of his prominent architectures are the Flying House (Dharamshala), Brick House (New Delhi), Greenpanel HQ (Kolkata &b New Delhi), Volvo-Eicher Headquarters (Gurgaon).
