Wood-The primary Material
The firm used wood as the chief material for the cafe to juxtapose with its concrete settings, assist in building the restaurant as a refuge. With the idea of giving café a cottage-like space Various Associates used warm and light colours.
The project provides an intimate atmosphere with black painted wall teamed by large wooden panels and signage.
Spherical Lights Adorns Outdoor Seating Area
The outdoor seating area of the café is embellished with spherical lights on the wooden lined overhanging roof. These noticeable arts that wrap around the café make people return to the bar to enjoy a peaceful and cosy ambience.
Interior of the cafe
Various Associates designed the interior with mirror-like surface, where lights shine upon it and reflect the surroundings. The flat view of interior space is adorned with gridded ceiling linked to overhanging roof, circular lights dangling in space, which gives a bright futuristic feeling while breaking the monotonous pattern.
To bring the local young community closer together, Various Associates filled each room with wooden furnishings such as wall panels, bar counter and chairs, and a number of smaller round tables and curved seats.
