After the successful entry of Fenix NTM, an opaque nanotech material created by Arpa Industriale in 2016, this material has changed the verticals of interior design industry. Fenix Nanotech Material is an innovative material created for interior design, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use. Willis, a North American distributor of World Class Building Materials which focused on meeting the needs of today’s evolving market trends will be showcasing Fenix at WMS 2017(2-4 Nov).

Fenix Trending

The external surface of Fenix NTM involves the use of nanotechnology, and its decor is obtained through next generation resins. The next generation thermoplastic resin, Fenix NTM’s surface is extremely closed. The irregular surface topography results in a very low light reflectivity (a surface specula reflectance of 1.5 at 60°) and the soft-touch effect.

This innovative material lays out an altogether new road in the world of interior design: a smart, extremely matte, anti-fingerprint surface.

Kastella has unveiled the T110 dining room table, the most recent addition to its collection. The T110 distinguishes itself from the company’s heritage, as it incorporates a Fenix NTM solid surface top option. Fenix is a next generation acrylic resin hardened and fixed with a surface curing process. It’s maintenance-free, highly resistant and is exceptionally soft to the touch.

Because of its special surface features, Fenix NTM is the smart surface material suitable for different interior design applications:

Kitchen

Fenix NTM is a revolutionary material for interior design, combining sophisticated aesthetic solutions with cuttingedge technological performances. With a low light reflection, this surface is extremely opaque, with a pleasant soft touch that repels fingerprints. It is regenerated by heat, resistant to scratches, knocks, acid solvents and domestic reagents, and is also water and mould resistant. Its characteristics make it a functional material for many everyday needs, while offering a new aesthetic language for interpreting design.

Furniture

Another Global brand specializing in doors and windows identified the FENIX NTM Surface as an innovative property, opening up new avenues in the field of interior design at the KBIS 2017. The new black matte doors and Custom Cabinetry set a racing trend.

Bathroom

Sense, the new bathroom furniture collection by AQUA revolves around the concept of materials: its aesthetic inspiration blends technically advanced materials with hardwearing textured wood finishes, like the solid sandblasted Teak wood. The Fenix NTM laminate, created with using nanotechnologies, gives the highest aesthetic and functional performance: it’s fingerprint proof, soft to the touch, and extremely matt. Installation is customizable as well: the bathroom washbasins can be integrated in the furniture or freestanding. Sense’s bathroom cabinets and vanities are all about a visual but above all tactile experience that lets you rediscover a new connection between design, texture and advanced product innovation.
