Natural and Rustic, The Rug Republic’s Global Citizen Collection Showcases Styles Inspired by the World | SURFACES REPORTER Material Update

Rug Republic Global Citizen collection

The Rug Republic’s Global Citizen collection embodies the ethos of the brand. A variety of designs and materials come together to form this comprehensive collection of styles inspired by the world. The Rug Republic has let the pristine materials speak for themselves and has used a lot of undyed wool and cotton to give a natural, rustic look.

The Alkes Rug highlights pastels in its hand-knotted wool, which makes it a perfect addition to a dreamy and creamy coloured space, while the Andrea Rug is a combination of natural ivory and brown. Its hand-knotted wool diamond and dotted pattern is incredibly versatile and injects warmth into homes.

Drawing inspiration from bohemian designs, the Dawlish Rug is table-tufted in cotton. Its natural white base brings out the tribal-inspired designs adding subtle colour to your space like never before. The Webrin Rug – hand-tufted in wool – is inspired by nature and features a leafy textured pattern, thereby adding a tribal vibe to the interiors. Jacquard woven in cotton chenille, the Nowgam Rug comes in different colours and shapes in contrast to regular-patterned rugs.

Additionally, the Abella Pouf, Arya footstool and Spica Bench are also part of the Global Citizen collection. Woven in soft cotton and durable jute, the Abella Pouf is handy as an extra seat when guests swing by and just as perfect as a footrest for your weary feet. The Arya footstool is crafted using recycled eucalyptus wood and upholstered using hand-woven recycled denim and hemp rug. The earthy look of the Spica Bench – made from recycled leather and hemp – is easy to match your interiors and is always a crowd-pleaser.
