Located in the historic city of Madrid, the ice cream shop designed for Brando looks into the link between visual perception and the phenomenology of colour. The project is created while keeping three fundamental things in mind: first is a low budget, a distinguishable development and a limited execution time. The firm used bold and bright blue color in the interiors that not only creates a fun and cool atmosphere but also provides the premises with multiple physical and psycho-emotional qualities. The idea while making Brando ice cream shop was to create an atmospheric experience for consumers. With this in mind, the firm created an artificial landscape where the scale looks stretched through the use of bold colour throughout the interiors.
The project fulfils an ecological manifesto by reducing the amount of waste while allowing the space to be combined and the different historical layers of the shop to be visible.
Polyurethane Foam Separates Band
The program of the shop is warranted into two aligned bands divided by a piece covered with projected polyurethane foam that meets the requirements of the program, functioning as a bar, counter and worktop, also it offers the remaining space with maximum flexibility.

Glowing Round Light
The project features a large glowing orange light that offers a bright accent to the all-blue theme of the ice cream shop.
Further, the counter seating by the windows is positioned on the opposite wall which also contains brick that has been painted blue to complement the rest of the interior. The ceiling also depicts blue color, allowing lighting ducts and tracks to harmonize with the blue background.
Concrete Base of Display Case
On one side, the shop contains a counter and display case that exhibits the ice creams on offer. The display case has a contrasting concrete base. The central element of the space is a circular luminaire made of stretched fabric.
