World University of Design announces Admissions for 2023 Entrance Exam 0n January 14th

World University of Design has invited online applications from candidates for admission in its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across all disciplines being offered at the university for the year 2023. More admission related updates on SURFACES REPORTER.

According to the press release by the university, WUDAT 2023, the design aptitude-based entrance exam of the university is scheduled for January 14th, 2023 and the last date of application is January 12th, 2023.

WUDAT 2023 will be conducted online and this 2.5 hour entrance examination must be attempted by candidates from home only. Interested students could retrieve the form and register using the link: https://worlduniversityofdesign.nopaperforms.com/

Admission open for varied courses

Admissions are open for nearly 30, trans-disciplinary programs in the creative domains of Fashion, Product, Interior, Transportation, Graphic, Communication, Animation, Film & Video, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Architecture and Business. Design is the need of the hour and opens a sky of infinity for those who want to carve their niche in the world of Design across verticals. The scope of design has widened today to overlap all industry verticals including augmented reality, artificial intelligence, UI/UX, urban development, sustainability, sociology and public policy etc. opening up immense possibilities.

In the simple application process, candidates would be required to register, verify their email IDs and fill the form. They can use the unique WUD Query Management System (WUD-QMS) for getting their queries promptly and efficiently responded to by the university admin.

Undergraduate Degrees in the offing this year are Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Architecture (BArch), Bachelor of Arts (BA(Hons)) and Bachelor of Performing Arts  (BPA) and Post Graduate Programmes are Master of Design (MDes), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Visual Arts (MVA) and Master of Performing Arts (MPA). World University of Design also offers Diploma Programmes in Fashion Design, Graphic & Web Design, Photography, Professional Automotive Modeling, Painting, Disaster Resilient Planning & Design and Film Acting.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta (Vice Chancellor, World University of Design) says, “As we hit 2023, we see our placements hitting the roof. The exposure to global trends for our students has gone up manifold owing to the many workshops and conclaves our faculty and students have attended in the year 2022. We are now open to welcome a new generation of design students with ambitions soaring high as the sky and zeal as strong as mountains. The advance round of entrance examination for academic session 2023 is designed to evaluate the aptitude of candidates towards creative education and guide them to select the right career path according to their inherent skill sets during the counseling sessions. I am hopeful that this will be another promising and bright year.

According to the press release, World Design University (WUD) is India’s first university dedicated to educate students in the creative domain. Seated in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, Haryana, WUD is offering a lot of creative courses to the aspiring students.
