Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports Bulandshahr, Anurag Thakur said that Bulandhahar will soon have a new indoor stadium. The new stadium will be designed to encourage budding sportspersons in the rural areas of the country. For this, the Central government had done a phenomenal increase in the budget allocation for sports this year. Read SURFACES REPORTER (SR)’s complete report below:

Focus on Promoting Rural Sports Talents

He said that the government is paying attention to every aspect of sports to bring out the hidden talents in the rural areas of the country. Under the leadership of the PM, more emphasis is being given to promoting Sports and the result is evident in the performance of players in the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games.

Construction Will Start Soon

The Union Minister assured the people that the construction of the stadium in the Lok Sabha constituency would be started soon. To make the players proficient in the game, 450 new coaches have been appointed. 

To provide maximum facilities to the sportspersons, the government has increased the sports budget from 964 crores in the past, this time the budget has tripled. Better coaches will be arranged to train the players in the indoor stadium.

With the opening of the stadium, thousands of players in the district will get an opportunity to play.
