Triennale Milano and Fondation Cartier jointly hosted a retrospective show of Italian designer Alessandro Mendini at this year’s Milan Design Week. Titled Io Sono Un Drago (I am a dragon), the exhibition, delved into Mendini’s vast contributions across architecture, art, design, and theory. The exhibition, divided into six thematic sections, reflects on Mendini’s life and work, beginning with Identikit, a series of self-portraits. It also explored Atelier Mendini’s architectural projects and Mendini’s research in radical design theory.
