His innovative bathroom trends for 2016 were published in SURFACES REPORTER in their special Tiles, Bath & Kitchen Special Edition –II.
1. White Rules the charts
White is timeless and it will continue its popularity in 2016.
Especially natural stone like Calcutta and Statuary with light gray and beige veining will work well. Even fixtures in white are in strong demand as white is a colour which works well with any style setting be it contemporary, classic or modern.

2. Free-standing tubs will be hot
“Free – standing bathtubs will be used in most master bathroom projects”, says Chris. A free-standing tub offers flexibility to be placed anywhere in the bathroom.

3. Gold Fixtures for that charm
Gold for plumbing fixtures is becoming popular – not brassy gold but more in antique finish. They never go out of style. Antique brassy gold finishes in the bathroom keeps coming back in trend every few years.

4. Geometrical shaped Tiles
Mosaic decorative tiles for the floor, shower walls or backsplashes that are not squares of glass will have a strong presence.
5. Black and shades of Grey makes a comeback
Black is looking like it will become very strong to add an accent to white. I won’t be surprised if we see more black vanities come into bathroom design.

This is Hastings’ Lilac Ceramic Floor Mount Toilet with Soft Close Seat. Shown here in black, it is available in six other finishes.

The Balletto vanity is derived from the concept of fusing the grace and sophistication of a ballerina with the strength and allure of a stiletto heel. Unique hidden storage options house hand towels, waste, magazines or small items to provide a level of convenience while minimizing space.
