• Marble City, one of the leading manufacturers & importers of exotic marble & other stones in India, recently launched the first-ever Neolith Experience Center in the country. The 2000 sq ft showroom is one-of-a kind center housing various applications of Neolith to give a real time feel of the unlimited possibilities with the extra ordinary material. The experience center was inaugurated by Miss India World 2014 Koyal Rana. Those who present there included many eminent architects from Delhi-NCR along with Neolith global Team members Daniel Sanchez &Fernando Guillen and Marble City Managing Directors, Saket & Amit Dalmia.

Being the largest available Sintered Compact Surface, Neolith is one of the materials that finds its application from exterior to interior. Neolith comes in two large formats measuring 3,200 x 1,500 and 3,600 x 1,200 mm, which means greater uniformity and continuity in different spaces for easier handling and to minimize the number of joints for more aesthetic and hygiene benefits.

Another USP of the material is its availability of thickness in 3, 6 and 12 mm. The difference in their use varies based on the intended purpose. For furniture and interior cladding, using 3 mm is recommended; for flooring (interior and exterior) and exterior applications (like ventilated façades), 6 mm is recommended; whereas 12 mm is reserved for more demanding product uses such as for kitchen worktops.

Saket Dalmia & Amit Dalmia, Managing Directors, Marble City, the distributors of Neolith in India said, “These days the Indian consumer has global exposure in terms of design, look and feel, and high end products. They want the same experience in their homes or working space. Neolith slabs offer that same high end feel whoever uses it, in their facade, interior, kitchen or flooring. Until now, there was no material which could be used in the kitchen which was white in colour and stain proof, fire-proof, Neolith has changed that perception; now you can make your kitchen in complete white colour without the fear of staining & discoluoration. Also it is a quick fix as compared to stones, granite etc.”
