Gujarat Institute of Housing and Estate Developers - CREDAI (GIHED CREDAI) has postponed the awaited property show to January next year stating that it will be in the best interest of the investors as well as the realtors. A report by SURFACES REPORTER (SR).
The three- day event that usually happens before Navratri has been postponed this year to January 2022 by the CREDAI-Ahmedabad GIHED. The decision has been taken owing to the fact that the influx of NRIs is expected to peak towards December end as well as many developers are planning to launch their new schemes in December and January. Therefore the apex real estate body has taken up the decision keeping the best interest of investors as well as realtors in mind.
While last year, the event was held online due to the onset of the pandemic, the upcoming event will be held at GMDC Ground.
Tejas Joshi, President, CREDAI-Ahmedabad GIHED, commented, "We wanted the vaccination drive to conclude positively. Also, with the beginning of the NRI season we can expect more buyers at the show.”
The association is expecting participation from around 65 developers and more than 350 projects, worth Rs 20,000 crore, on display.
