Why Named Cotino?
The name Cotino comes from continus coggygria- European smoke tree plant- that refers to Smoke Tree Ranch, where Walt Disney owned a house in nearby Palm Springs. The club house of Cotino will be positioned on the water.
People of all ages can reside in the community. However, a particular section is specifically reserved for residents over the age of 55. Disney has also plans of creating other Storyliving communities in other districts of the US.
