Crafting a Home: Where Architecture, Art, and Minimalism Converge

A couple's 2BHK home becomes a canvas for their shared passions and creativity, reflecting their journey as designers and life partners, reports SURFACES REPORTER (SR).

As architects and designers, the designers envisioned a home that would reflect their shared passion for art, architecture, and minimalism. With one partner as an architect, interior stylist, and artist, and the other as an architect and interior designer, the home became a collaborative canvas where their creativity, values, and vision came to life. Every corner of their 2BHK home tells a chapter of their story - a harmonious blend of their personalities and professional passions.

The living room marks the beginning of their journey, seamlessly combining subtle artistry with functionality. A concrete backdrop highlights the TV, while a lightweight sofa offers comfort and simplicity. A serene yet artistic temple corner, adorned with wallpaper art inspired by Indian culture, connects them to their roots. The space flows effortlessly into the kitchen, where a cozy breakfast table bridges moments of creativity with everyday living, reinforcing the warmth of their home.

The kitchen stands as a minimalist's delight, designed with earthy wooden tones and terracotta hues. Its simplicity and functionality reflect their shared belief in creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical - an essential part of their daily routine.

The guest room, one of their favorite spaces, serves as a versatile hub for both creativity and work. It’s where one partner immerses in art, and where the other finds focus at a sleek workstation. A rotating mirror transforms the space effortlessly to meet their needs. To enhance openness and light, a solid wall was replaced with fluted glass, seamlessly connecting the room to the living area. A platform bed with under-storage ensures practicality, creating a welcoming space for family and friends.

The master bedroom captures the essence of their design philosophy - minimalist yet deeply personal. With custom curtains, a thoughtfully designed wardrobe, and wallpaper that narrates stories of nature and love, it serves as a sanctuary of calm and inspiration. The dressing area, with its graphic design, captures the rhythm of their daily lives - beginning each morning with smiles and ending with gratitude.

Every element of their home, from the wallpapers to the bed backdrops, has been meticulously curated to reflect their shared journey as designers and as a couple. Their home is more than just a space; it is the embodiment of their love for architecture, art, and the life they’ve built together.
