The Indian government has imposed an anti-dumping duty of up to USD 0.18/kg on imports of acrylic solid surfaces from China for a period of five years. The decision, announced by the Ministry of Finance under Notification No. 07/2025-Customs (ADD) dated March 25, 2025, comes after an investigation by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) found that these products were being dumped into India at unfairly low prices, harming domestic manufacturers.
