A visionary architect, respected juror at THE WADE ASIA, and dedicated mentor whose legacy continues to inspire the design community, Ar Vijay Garg passed away on 31st December 2025.
The teams at SURFACES REPORTER magazine and THE WADE ASIA Architecture Event shared a warm and affectionate bond with Architect Vijay Garg. On their behalf, as well as on my own, I express my deepest condolences on the passing of an extraordinary human being and a highly distinguished professional who held several significant positions within the architectural community. His immense contributions to the profession and his unwavering commitment to architectural practice and leadership will always be remembered with deep respect.
It is truly difficult to imagine that Vijay ji is no longer with us. He was part of almost all our initiatives and consistently blessed us with his guidance and support. I have personally witnessed him extending help and encouragement to countless members of the community. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving person, a high achiever who was ever willing to help others achieve even more.
We extend our sincere sympathies to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire architectural fraternity. May his soul rest in peace.
