Rooted in Victorian elegance and Indian heritage, The House of Jewels is a 4,000 sq ft residence in Kanpur, layered with a rich palette that balances opulence with warmth. Carved solid wood forms the backbone of the interiors, appearing in the grand entrance door, archways, four-poster beds, and bespoke furniture. Marble flooring provides a foundation for the public spaces, while hand-painted murals, antique curios, and sculptural artifacts introduce patina and narrative, allowing walls to function as canvases of memory. In the dining area, the interplay of polished stone, fabric drapes, and metallic detailing heightens the sense of ceremonial grandeur.

A standout material appears in the mirrored Jodhpur bar, where reflective surfaces amplify light and intricate carvings transform function into ornament. Bedrooms soften the palette with neutral hues punctuated by jewel tones, vintage f inishes, and warm lighting, while the master bath pairs patterned tiles with a freestanding tub for a spa-like retreat. Extending outdoors, including the terrace, further blends artisanal furniture with greenery.
