Situated on the 41st floor, in Mumbai, this 9,000 sq ft duplex unfolds as a layered material narrative that is shaped by stone, metal, glass and mirror. The entrance establishes a tactile proposal, comprising a mandala-inspired, floor-to-ceiling stone mural that anchors the foyer, wrapped in an 8 ft full-height wall panelling. A custom glass chandelier with gilded edges casts a muted shimmer, echoing the goldfish artwork that accentuates the space.
The formal living and dining areas move into a luminous palette of whites, taupes and muted gold, sharpened by black accents. The black metal exoskeleton of the Versace sofas and dining chairs introduces a graphic Art Deco rhythm to the space, while brass detailing traces door trims, elevator frames, furniture edges and chandeliers add a gentle sheen. A rose gold mirrored wall, etched with arch motifs, conceals the powder room.
At the core of A Still Summit is a sculptural spiral staircase in metal, glass and marble that coils around a semi-capsule lift. Marble treads, an ombre glass balustrade and a brushed brass handrail rise against a fluid, wavetextured panel evoking the Arabian Sea. Upstairs, warm beiges and taupes soften the informal lounge. The master suite further deepens into browns and champagne gold, with wardrobes finished in leather and a bathroom clad in Greek White Thassos marble. While the son’s room celebrates his toy gun collection with a custom display wall supported by a characteristic climbing wall for play, the daughter’s room reflects her transition into young adulthood in soft lilac, with a dedicated dresser and study.
