Grand Piano in the Living Space
Nothing spells luxury quite like a grand piano in one’s living space.
As part of Ekta's vision to marry classical and maximalist elements to create perfectly luxurious and aspirational homes, Ekta uses a grand piano in the day (living) area to evoke a feeling of grandeur and regality for those who value beauty and sophistication.
Bedrooms Exude Lavishness
While often, the main design focus of a home is its living and dining spaces, because this is where we entertain friends and guests, the bedroom is the place we go to unwind and recharge. So it becomes important to have a bedroom that is comfortable, luxurious, and tranquil.Ekta’s vision of a cohesive home can be seen in the use of a consistent colour palette with gold accents to accentuate the plushness of the bedroom. She uses the perfect balance of colours and textures, fabrics and furnishings to bring about a sense of comfort and grandeur.
Reminiscent of the old English cigar rooms and classic hunting lodges, with avian and animal motifs, Ekta adds a modern and luxurious flair to the bedroom with the use of rich browns and gold tones. The high, plush headboard also evokes a sense of opulence and affluence, while the interesting décor items and gold stag lighting add equal amounts of drama and masculinity to the space.
Relaxing and Cozy Nook
Perfect homes have perfect corners where you can sit, observe, and unwind. Ekta’s ability to create such nooks and spaces in a home that allow for a time-out, while still remaining true to the design theme, is what makes her creative touch truly special.
The use of soothing blue, avian motifs, and a Buddha are all elements carried over from other rooms in house, but they equally serve the purpose of providing a peaceful corner to settle in with a book, a beverage, or an electronic device of choice.
The designer blended understated elegance with effervescent opulence to create the perfect spaces in this home.
