Dark Glossy Tiles Metal Mesh Ceilings and Stone Flooring | kaviar: collaborative

The Charlee Restaurant and Bar by Kaviar: Collaborative showcases a striking design that masterfully blends modern industrial aesthetics with luxurious elements. Dark, glossy tiles by Cambay Stones adorn the walls, accentuating select areas of the dining space. The step-up floor and columns clad in glossy Kit Kat tiles contrast beautifully with the rough Kota stone flooring, embodying a theme of material juxtaposition. Textured brass seating adds drama to the interior, while glass blocks on the windows offer privacy and a glamorous effect when illuminated at night. The ceiling features a distinctive black, powder-coated metal mesh structure, contributing a textured, industrial vibe while maintaining an open and airy ambiance. The metal jali doubles as an artistic installation, enhancing the visual intrigue of the space. Charlee reimagines the concept of a clandestine speakeasy concealed above a sophisticated wine shop, challenging conventional design expectations. The restaurant and bar deliver an immersive experience where dark tones, rich textures, and modern sophistication converge to create an atmosphere reminiscent of a hidden lair—a “batcave meets gentleman’s club.
