With some careful planning, you can get the most out of your space. Don't let the size of your room disappoint you. There are multiple ways to make your tiny space look and feel big.

Morning and night routines can feel less fun when you're struggling to keep things organized. Continue reading to find out about how to build the right space. In this piece put together carefully by Surfaces Reporter (SR) You'll find tips and tricks on how to make your small bathroom look big in style.

1) Walls: Choose a light print wallpaper or solid light colours. Light colours will reflect lighter and make the space look bigger. Light prints are easy on the eye. Big prints can appear overwhelming and uneasy. Stick to a monochromatic color palette for a luxurious aesthetic. Anchor the room with a bright and bold printed ceiling. Double the size of the room by adding mirrors. You can create a distraction using the right wallpaper. Using a bold print, maximize the impact on a small space. If you're going for a completely white bathroom, use black grout for texture. This combination is a complete win.

2) Sinks and taps: Make your bathroom stand out with a statement sink. Pair it with a vintage mirror for a beautiful appeal. Think outside the box by placing some things differently. By switching the position of the taps to the side of the sink you can save some space and create a unique design. To amplify the lighting of the room, place light strips behind the mirror or vanity.

3) Showers: Choose corner showers for more space. It is flexible and gives you more space to play. For tight spaces, swinging doors for the shower is better. Lightweight shower curtains make the room feel more open and reflect the light.

4) Toilet: Set your toilet at a corner. In this way you can maximize the space. Use the method of zoning areas. Using a wood wall paneling, separate the areas of use. This gives a clear and open feel to the room.

5) Bathtub: Small space doesn't mean no bathtubs. You can choose an oval bathtub. It cuts the space around it, giving an impression of space. Keep a bath tray for all your supplies and minimize space.

6) Cabinets: Add wall cabinets for storage. Keep things simple. Make some changes like hanging a towel on the bars to minimize the patterns. Use reflective surfaces such as glossy and ceramic surfaces to reflect light. Wall mounted furniture gives a streamlined look. Buy multifunctional furniture whenever possible. For easy to grab furniture, opt for a three-tiered wire storage. You can place it beside the bathtub or shower for a better experience. You can keep the toiletries out of sight by placing them inside the cabinets. Make the cabinets camouflage with the wall. Choose enclosed hidden cabinets.

7) Decor: Add a mirror. It will reflect the little amount of light that hits the room. This way the room looks bigger and brighter. Add pops of colour with a planter or small pieces of sculpture. Add some accent walls. Use a bright yellow or blue shower screen to add a vibrant effect. Light up the room with good lighting. If you don't want to overwhelm the space with too much decor, play around with tile colours and tile shapes.

8) Floor. The foundation of the room starts with the floor. Use tiles on the side of the bath and the wall to make your space feel larger. Marble is the most effective bathroom tile as it looks seamless. Using the same tiles for the floor and walls will also give a seamless finish. Natural stone is a popular choice of many homeowners. It adds a spa-like touch to your bathroom. A wood floor along with a vanity will add a sense of warmth and serenity to the room.

Bathrooms are the most challenging spaces to decorate. Make these changes around your space and feel the difference. It’s about time to bring freshness to your houses with a gorgeous makeover.
