The tiles are ingeniously made from two key waste components: London clay, excavated during tunnel boring, and iron oxide-rich dust produced by train wheels grinding against steel tracks daily.
Alted H01 presents a vibrant collection of surface tiles crafted from recycled paper waste.
Utilizing 3D printing and an algorithmic approach, Studio RAP constructed the archways using 3,000 unique tiles that evoke the colour and patterns of traditional Delft Blue porcelain.
