Thailand envoy Pattarat Hongton told ANI, "The trilateral highway between India, Myanmar, and Thailand is currently under construction. The road has been completed from Thailand to Myanmar.

India has plans to extend its current highway construction enterprise to encompass Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and other nearby Asian nations.
According to news reports, this connectivity could lead to a US$70 billion increase in GDP and 20 million new jobs by 2025.
Moreover, the government is projected to launch several transport services along the route; one example is a bus service from Manipur to Myanmar, and trains are also anticipated.
The highway is an ideal conduit for tourism and cultural exchanges between India and Thailand.
