With its own micro climate, project Marwah signifies a little paradise amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. This is a part of SURFACES REPORTER (SR) #MeTooEarth campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day, 2021.
The Luxury Landscape
During this period of global pandemic, we have all realized that true luxury is nature and not man-made things. Project ‘Marwahas’ located in Jalandhar is a private residence along 100 ft busy mall road with 15000 sqft area. The emphasis here is on luxury landscape, rather than focusing on the concrete block.
The 14’ wall as barrier divides the space from noisy and vehicle pollution. The landscape helps in hinder the sound created by road.
The microclimate
The whole premise enclosed in walls creates a mini microclimate within that reduces the temperature by 3-4 degrees. Once inside, one feels completely detached from the city's hustle and bustle and of course pollution.
Specially selected oxygen-generating plants, mosquito repelling plants are major selections to provide utmost healthy usage.
The architect believes that landscape is of utmost importance, and equally vital in terms of design as building. This project is very close to our heart as they did their bit in contributing to the beauty of the mother, Nature.
