Astral Ltd, one of the major CPVC pipes and fittings manufacturers in the country has recently forayed into the faucets and sanitaryware segment eyeing to tap the Rs 15,000 crore potential of the Indian market. A report by SURFACES REPORTER (SR).
According to the brands press release, the move is a part of its growth strategy to leverage the brand ASTRAL and its Network of more than 33000 dealers in Pipes and more than 130000 dealers in the Adhesives & Sealant vertical across the country. With the current move, the brand is eyeing to tap Rs 15,000 crore potantial of the market.

The new division will be headed by Mr. Atul Sanghvi, President (Faucets & Sanitaryware division) who posses almost 32 years of experience in the building material industry who was earlier associated with Cera Sanitaryware ltd as the Executive Director and CEO from last 22 years.
On the appointment of Mr. Atul Sanghvi, the Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Sandeep Engineer quotes, “Today I am very delighted to induct Mr. Atul Sanghvi to our Senior Management Team of ASTRAL and I am confident that Mr. Atul Sanghvi who is carrying a very rich experience of 37 years will take the brand ASTRAL to a New Height and with addition of this new vertical, brand ASTRAL will be more visible brand in building material space, which was so far behind the wall. This will make the brand ASTRAL a stronger Brand in Building Material Category”.
