Seoul Twin Eye- Worlds Tallest Spokeless Ferris Wheel Designed by UNStudio

The Seoul Twin Eye, designed by UNStudio, is set to become the world's tallest spokeless ferris wheel, standing at a planned height of 180 meters. The construction of the Seoul Twin Eye is scheduled to commence in 2025. Read more details about it on SURFACES REPORTER(SR):

The Seoul Twin Eye’s unique design features two intersecting rings carrying pods along both tracks, capable of accommodating up to 1,400 tourists simultaneously. Each of the 64 capsules can hold 20-25 people, doubling the capacity of the London Eye, currently one of the largest ferris wheels in the world.

Integration into Cultural Complex

The ferris wheel will be part of a 40-meter high cultural complex located on the edge of the Han River, contributing to the development of public spaces for both residents and tourists. Inspired by the Honcheonsigye astronomical clock, the design aims to provide panoramic views of the city.

Plans include the construction of a monorail to connect the subway station directly to the ferris wheel site and a proposed zip line within the complex for adventurous experiences.

The addition of the Seoul Twin Eye is expected to enhance the beauty and charm of Seoul, becoming a must-see destination for locals and tourists.
