This courtyard house designed by Khosla associates is located in Bangalore. The house seems to be aligned with keeping the beauty of natural views in mind. The double-height of the drawing-room featuring floor to ceiling windows allow abundant natural sunlight and cross ventilation. The wide verandah focuses on directing the views to the refreshing wilderness around. The home consists of two floors and space is divided in a way to flow towards the internal courtyard. For a green experience indoors, the bedrooms have at least one full-length glass wall. Vertically ribbed timber louvres act as dividers between the threshold of the house and the garden beyond. The living space also features a central orange staircase made from a shell of mild steel, set with timber treads. In this solid tweak were sandwiched between sheets of steel.
