STUFISH Entertainment Architects has shown their new creation called "Vision 2030 Portals" at Cityscape 2023. Its a special tunnel thats 40 meters long, 7 meters high, and 3 meters wide, and its like a giant mirror. Inside the tunnel, there are seven colourful areas that look like a kaleidoscope.
This artwork is a way to show the big projects Saudi Arabia is planning for its cities in the future, like NEOM, ROSHN, and Qiddiya. When you walk through the tunnel, it feels like youre moving through different future worlds. There are also some really interesting projects in Saudi Arabia, like The Line, which is a city with tall buildings that dont produce any pollution, and Oxagon, which is a huge port that works automatically. Theres also AlUla, which is like a giant museum. All of these things are highlighted in the artwork.
Captivating Looping Exhibit
STUFISH made a cool looping exhibit in Riyadh. Its like a never-ending tunnel that takes 45 seconds to walk through. You can keep going in and out to see different things. The pictures change every 45 seconds, and there are 15-second parts that make the changes smooth. It feels like youre in different places with things like wind and waves.
They used special LED floor tiles and mirrors to make it, so that when you walk, it looks like youre moving in a circle. When you look back, the mirrors show pictures of big projects from the past, like saying we should learn from history to make a better future.
