Bodas Mian Anger and Aston Martin collaborated on a Miami skyscraper. Although Aston Martin touts it as Florida's tallest residential building, competition looms from projects like the Waldorf Astoria by Sieger Suarez Architects and Carlos Ott. BMA notes the sail design's symbolic and practical benefits, providing stability against strong winds and enhancing ventilation.

Sail-like Design

The Aston Martin Skyscraper embodies the car manufacturer's design DNA with its sail-like form and solid foundation. It has a unique cantilevered pool deck. BMA's Martin Freyre emphasized the importance of airflow and wind resistance, particularly in hurricane-prone Florida. Collaborating closely with engineers, the design mirrors Aston Martin's ethos of aerodynamics, power, and beauty.

The waterfront facade's graceful curve reflects meticulous attention to detail and adherence to environmental regulations, addressing heightened scrutiny in architectural developments.

The Aston Martin Skyscraper, inspired by car design, faced construction challenges due to its waterfront location. Its foundation, one of South Florida's largest, required over 14,000 cubic yards of concrete, reflecting the project's scale and complexity.

Inside the building

Its interior features carbon fiber fixtures reminiscent of Aston Martin vehicles and includes amenities such as conference rooms, entertainment spaces, and wellness facilities. The pinnacle of luxury living is the three-storey penthouse, offering 27,191 square feet of living space.

Towards the upper floor of the building, there's a protruding cantilever that extends like a lip from the 55th floor, featuring an infinity pool and lounge area. Situated at the mouth of the Miami River, this iconic residence sets a new standard for luxury living, with 99% of its residences already sold.
