
New Delhi, 5 September 2025, Official Press Release: The 5th edition of MATECIA Exhibition 2025 concluded in grand style at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi (21–24 August 2025), firmly establishing itself as India’s largest marketplace for interiors and building materials. Spread across 4.5 lakh sq. ft. with 300+ exhibitors and 55,000+ business visitors from 600+ towns and cities of India and 14 other countries, the exhibition reinforced its title as the MahaKumbh of Interior & Building Products.
MATECIA 2025 brought together the widest spectrum of products including panels & surfaces, hardware, windows, doors, façades, cladding, furniture, wardrobes, lighting, carpets, and more from all over India. The exhibition floor became a vibrant hub where brands, dealers, distributors, OEMs, architects, interior designers, importers & exporters and consultants converged to explore innovations, forge partnerships, and discover business opportunities.
It took place along with other mega events viz. THE WADE ASIA Architecture Event, India Furniture Conclave, India Interior Retailing conference, ArchiDesign National Design Competition, Design Galore and Material Adda.
Key Highlights of MATECIA Exhibition 2025
1. Dr Kiran Bedi, Actor Randeep Hooda and Aurora Russi from Embassy of Italy graced THE WADE ASIA and MATECIA Exhibition along with Industry Stalwarts from Merino, Dorset, CenturyPly, Action Tesa, Greenply, Virgo, FIPPI and other eminent associations and trade bodies, making the 10th year milestone even more special.
A Memorandum was signed between THE WADE ASIA and India Vision Foundation where WADE has pledged to provide uninterrupted financial support to 5 girls for 10 years.
2. The India Furniture Conclave 2025, brought together India’s leading voices in furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, hardware, and panel products. In its 4th edition powered by Dupoply, the Conclave hosted powerful sessions with leaders from Homelane, Hettich, Featherlite, Pidilite, Livspace, HOF furniture, SALT Smart Kitchens, Avian Lifestyle, Farwood, Wheaton Design and more. With designers, manufacturers, and OEMs engaging on one platform, the Conclave showcased the strength and future potential of India’s furniture and interiors industry.
3. 10th year of THE WADE ASIA India’s top architecture event and the world’s largest platform dedicated to women in design – 2025 saw the celebration of a decade-strong movement of creativity, connections, and commerce in the built environment. It brought together more than 9,000 architects and design professionals at one place in four days. THE WADE ASIA has emerged as a strong initiative connecting designers and brands.
4. Hugely successful MERINO Designs India WADE Architecture Conference – Featured keynotes from Ar. Hiren Patel, and inspiring sessions on luxury, sustainability, global disruptions, and top women entrepreneurs in business of design. Revered names like Raseel Gujral Ansal, Mandana Karimi, Sunita Kohli, Payal Jain, Isheeta Thakral, Sonali Bhagwati, Sabina Reddy, Maitri Kalapi Buch, Gunjan Das and more stalwarts were loved as speakers. From Merino Leadership, Manoj Lohia enlightened the gathering with the welcome address while Saurabh Bansal, Director of Dorset beautifully summed up with the special address. The engaging conference attracted delegates from all around India.
5. Largest Architecture & Interior Design Competition in the world for Women in Design concluded with biggest participation so far- The 2025 ArchiDesign National Design Competition at THE WADE ASIA marked its 10th year with an unprecedented scale—3,000+ entries, 200+ shortlisted projects, and 25 categories presented live across 7 jury rooms over 3 intense days. With India’s most eminent architects and designers on the jury, every session became a masterclass in transparency, mentorship, and recognition. The projects were also exhibited for four days, reaffirming it as the largest women-centric design competition in the world.
6. India Interior Retailing and Material and Technology Conclave – IIR 2025 brought together top voices from the retail and interior markets, discussing changing consumer choices, omni-channel strategies, modular versus customized furniture, and brand storytelling. Entrepreneurs and design leaders decoded the fast-evolving interior retail landscape, highlighting India’s position in the global market. The Material conclave gathered scientists, researchers, and industry experts for technical deep-dives into materials, sustainability, green design, and innovations in building technologies.
7. Design Galore and Material Adda are the design and innovation zones at THE WADE ASIA, where the best of the best in design came together. Spread across 500+ sqm, it showcased top furniture, lighting, designer products, creative concepts, and installations, offering visitors an inspiring glimpse into cutting-edge design and innovation.
