Awe-Inspiring Installations Steal the Show at THE WADE ASIA Architecture Event and MATECIA 2025

At the MATECIA Exhibition 2025 and The WADE ASIA, innovation and sustainability took center stage with awe-inspiring installations that stopped visitors in their tracks. More than just exhibits, these creations became crowd magnets, drawing visitors away from their strolls to pause, admire and capture selfies with pieces that blended art, culture, and conscience. Highlights of the showcase included:

BECOMING by Radha Patel

An 8-foot corten steel and aluminium sculpture symbolizing the journey of self-discovery, where grounded resilience meets limitless possibility. A contemplative piece that invited visitors to reflect while also becoming a striking photo backdrop.

Waste to Wonder Creation by De’Dzines

An impactful installation crafted from 800kg of scrap tyres, depicting Ram vs Ravan to symbolize the triumph of good over evil. Beyond its cultural resonance, it urged audiences to confront modern-day Ravans, which are waste, pollution and overconsumption.

The Peacock by De’Dzines

Built from 400 cycle tyres and 20 car and truck tyres, this vibrant sculpture celebrated India’s national bird as an emblem of beauty, pride and sustainability. The installation became one of the most photographed attractions of the exhibition.

Tungsten Design Studio

Designed by Tungsten Design Studio based in Noida, this vibrant photo-op typographic wall installation invited visitors to discover and explore THE WADE ASIA.

Dorset

Throne of Frame by Dorset, curated by Priyanka P Mehra of PS Design, is a pinnacle of creativity and innovation, expressed through a perfectly balanced mix of hardware products. It invites visitors to claim the throne of frame, an amalgamation of creative thoughts that fulfills the expectations of a true throne owner.

These innovative creations not only highlighted the role of design in addressing global challenges but also underscored how sustainability can be woven into cultural and artistic storytelling. Visitors, architects and designers praised the installations for their scale, creativity and message-driven narratives.

With over 55,000 visitors and 300+ exhibitors, MATECIA 2025 once again established itself as the Mahakumbh of interior and building products, while The WADE ASIA celebrated its decade-long journey as India’s top platform connecting women in design, architecture and innovation with brands and thought leaders.
