The Verandah
Natasha Aggarwal
Since it was a studio space, the idea was to work with an open plan concept which allowed free movement as per the user’s mood with minimal or no pre-defined pathways to browse around. Spatially, the studio has two primary areas- the display and central seating area for customers, and the private workspace for the designer. The store and the private office area is divided by an arched wall to wall checkered partition in metal and glass. A mirror has been seamlessly infused within this partition making the space look larger. Using curtains to define the trial room allow flexibility within the main space, keeping the open plan concept alive.
