Clarke & Clarke – available through Maishaa – recently launched a fantastical collection inspired by nature called Wilderie. Presenting the animal world across continents in colourfully evocative strokes, Wilderie collection of fabrics and wall coverings is designed by British artist and designer Emma J Shipley. It is her second collaboration with Clarke & Clarke after Animalia.

Wilderie, where wild mean living in a state of nature and reverie means a daydream, comprises 10 intricately hand-drawn designs of wallpapers and fabrics including cotton satin, velvet and a new range of beautifully textured linens and plain silks.

Weaving vibrant imagery depicting creatures inspired by myths, legends and the unique beauty of the natural world from Africa to America via British fairy tales, Shipley blends imagination with reality to create a fantasyland that wows you. Aided by her undying love for nature, the collection is a treat to nature lovers and maximalists alike. The collection encompasses the hand-drawn designs abound in rich nature backdrops in bright colours that play host to winged leopards, curious birds, cacti, palms, prancing wild animals, leopard-spotted elephants, leaping gazelles and more. The wallpapers accentuate stunning metallic details that add an extra element of luxury and depth and shine beautifully when they catch the light.
