One of the leading Scottish paint companies which is known for making luxury lifestyle paints in the UK since 1929, Craig & Rose has launched its first-ever experience centre in India. According to Construction Week Online, the experience centre has been unveiled by Mark Titus, Marketing Director, Nippon Paint (Decorative) India; Ar CR Raju, Principal Architect, CR Raju Architects and National President, Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) in Ispahani Centre, Nungambakkam.
Designed by the Chennai-based architecture and interior design firm The ZARC, the interiors of the store have been inspired by Scottish architectural design’s authentic roots in amalgamation with supplementary modern elements. The ZARC has retained the pivotal design aspects of Craig & Rose’s flagship store in the UK through the colour palette.
To enhance the buying experience of its customers, architects and designers, the experience centre has been painted with Craig & Rose’s colours such as Craig and Rose Vintage 1829 collection, Craig and Rose blue and Artisan finishes alongside art installations. Single pyramid, featuring a plethora of finishes in the same colour with easy-to-compare touch and feel, is displayed at the store highlighting chalky emulsion, gloss, and eggshell finishes. However, most parts of the store has been painted in Jet black shade from the 1829 collection to remodel the colours.
