The latest addition to Hyderabad will be a sight to behold, with its stunning tunnels surrounded by sapphire waters, and huge enclosures packed full of sea creatures.
Freshwater Habitat
This great new addition to the city's landscape is set to wow its viewers with fabulous tunnels in azure waters and massive areas filled with various species from the sea - akin to those seen in Singapore, Shanghai and Dubai.
It will give visitors the ability to stroll through and gain an unobstructed 180-degree view of nearby aquatic life. The tunnel aquarium is home to over 500 species of freshwater and saltwater fish, including starfish, angelfish, clownfish, wrasses, sea horses, boxfish, eels and other less common varieties. Enthusiasts from all around can now get an up-close look at these fish from Malaysia, Singapore and Kerala.
Other Interesting Amenities
The HMDA have big plans for Echo Hill Park, with the construction of a huge aviary and other facilities such as an adventure zone, butterfly park, resort, food courts, a 2.5-km broad walk and a suspension bridge. It has already invited tenders for the development of the resort, food courts and adventure zone on a design-built-finance-operate-transfer (DBFOT) mode, with the aim of making this lung space a major tourist attraction.
The resort will be composed of a minimum of 50 wooden cottages, each measuring 500 or more sqft and offering amenities that compare to those of a 3-star hotel.
The stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the aquarium creates an unforgettable experience that can't be found anywhere else.
