Hyderabad-based paint manufacturer- Techno Paints has announced that it was planning to set up three additional factories to produce primers, cement putty, textures and emulsions in Telangana and one in Andhra Pradesh. Read SURFACES REPORTER (SR)’s complete report below:

Techno Paints is growing its retail network in the paint market in order to achieve its goal of being one of the foremost players in the country’s painting industry.
As per the company, each of its facilities will have a 30,000 metric tonne yearly capacity in the initial phase. Each plant would cost around Rs 460 million to the firm. The firm will use debt financing. The firm confirmed that the banks are prepared to make loans.
With a total of three factories, the company is estimated to have a total annual capacity of 2.50 lakh metric tonnes. The plant is expected to generate 200 new jobs.
